01

Adirondack Weather!

October in the Adirondacks can bring a wide range of weather conditions. You may have a hot sunny race, cold and rainy, snow, or a mix of all the above and everything in between! Come prepared for all weather conditions. Wear layers so you can comfortably take layers off if the weather changes from cold to warm. Bring rain gear and warmer layers to be prepared to run in colder wet temperatures!

02

Race Course Aid Stations

There will be an aid station at miles 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11!

  • Aid stations will be supplied with water and Gatorade and we are hoping to have a special Adirondack surprise for you! Stay tuned!

  • Aid stations 5 and 9 will be supplied with water and Gatorade.

*We are making efforts this year to be less wasteful. Aid stations will have tin cups to use and recycle!

*We recommend planning and carrying any desired race foods that you have been training with like gels etc. with you. If this is your first time running a race, don't hesitate to reach out with race prep questions; we are happy to make recommendations!

Post Race Food

We will have some complementary post-race snacks for our runners at the race venue. We are making efforts to be less wasteful this year and snacks will look something like potato chips, pretzels, and bagels.

This year we will have on site The Waffle Cabin! Bring cash or a credit card for your post-race waffles and bacon! Ben & Jerry's will also be there handing out post-race ice cream!

04

Bathrooms

There will be on-site portable bathrooms and one bathroom stop on the course for the half-marathon runners.
